TrimTrac is a location enabling piece of hardware. Quite simply, if
you need to add to your customer portfolio, or begin a new
service, TrimTrac adds up to the lowest hardware and integration
costs for a location specific service.
Why re-invent the wheel? The market is awash with bespoke
GSM / GPRS / GPS hardware. The majority is manufactured in
small batches, for a specific company or market, or requires
bespoke control code, additional hardware etc.
TrimTrac is a generic location device. It is flexible enough to be a motion
driven security device, or a full asset monitoring tool. The unit is
rated to IP 55 (except when used with the external antenna)

TrimTrac is manufactured in volume, by a World leading GPS
Company, for a world market. Using cutting edge GPS technology
for outstanding performance and with guaranteed product
longevity, quality & support.
TrimTrac uses simple ASCII messages to change configurations “on
the fly” or from initial set up. No need for complex AT command
sets, or independent control of GSM and GPS, in order to achieve a
position transmit. The TrimTrac configuration controls both GPS
and GSM / GPRS functionality and transmits location, time, speed
etc in one simple ASCII message with no server-side interaction.
A clearly defined State machine allows System Integrators the
flexibility to dictate the functionality that they require, allowing
less server-side integration, and a faster time to market. With so
many functionality options, the integrator can offer a service in
its simplest terms. Once configured, the TrimTrac may never
need further interaction from the server side application.
